We're BAAAACCCCKKK!!! -- that's what you get for crossing us!

Week of May 17, 2004

We are still working on "Our Story", and it should be on the website in about 1 week. Thank you for your patience!

However, in the meantime, we did want to repost one little story that was on the website a couple of weeks, but due to some threats that we got, we removed it. Well, we decided that would NOT bow into such threats, and have thus decided to repost it.

Have you ever wondered if that person sitting next to you or your next door neighbor has a prison record? Well, you can find out with just a few clicks on the Internet! Most people do not know this, but Oklahoma Department of Corrections records are public record on the Internet. The web address is http://www.doc.state.ok.us .

From there, click on "Offender Information". Then, click on "Offender Lookup". All you have to do from there is enter your search criteria. For example, suppose we wanted to look up Mike Hendrix's prison record. We would enter "Michael Hendrix" for "First Name" and "Last Name" and then, click "Search". You will get a list of search results, and in our case, the Mike Hendrix we are looking for is the first one listed.

Does anybody remember Terry Case? He is the drug addict/dealer that Cory Williams' then-wife, Cindy Lewis (now Cindy Turpin), was caught screwing. If you type his name in, you can view his prison record as well.

See how easy that was!! So, if you are curious about someone, finding out if they have a prison record is just a click away!! So, click away!!

Our Story

There have been alot of questions about what the connection is between us and Cyril Full Gospel Holiness Church. Because of the interest, we have decided to do a story on that. The story will be on the site probably by this Sunday, May 16th.

But, here is a brief glimpse. It is our opinion -- from personal experience -- that Cyril Full Gospel has leaders who are hypocrites. Here is an example. Last summer, one of the leaders was quoted as saying, citing Biblical references, that any woman who is divorced except due to adultery commits adultery if she remarries. For this reason, he vowed never to be involved with a divorced woman unless she divorced her husband because of adultery. In fact, he broke up with a girlfriend last year over this. There isn't necessarily anything wrong with this -- this is a valid interpretation of Matthew 19:9.

But, just recently, when this same person was confronted with the statistical fact that Cyril Full Gospel has the highest divorce rate of all the churches in Cyril, this was his response: "Well, that's because those divorced people were probably not welcome in any other church". There is one slight problem with this reasoning. Many, many people who get a divorce come to the church, hoping to find a good, Godly man or woman to eventually marry. Many of these people come from a background of abusive relationships or relationships where they were just simply left by their spouses. If they are, indeed, welcome in the church, they don't need to later find out that they are not marryable. We find this to be very hypocritical. In addition, we also feel that if this indeed is the stand of Cyril Full Gospel, then the Pastor should not marry people who do not meet these conditions. Yet he has on many, many occasions.

But, this is only a glimpse. Included in this story is going to be snippets from actual doctor's reports on the emotional impact this church has had on some of its former members.....
